Our Pure Cashmere Tsuriami French Terry is made from 100% cashmere, transforming one of the world's most luxurious natural fibers into a fabric rarely experienced in this form.

Cashmere is typically associated with lightweight and delicate garments. Here, we've developed it into something altogether more substantial.

At 509 GSM (15oz per square yard), this is an exceptionally hefty and weighty fabric, especially considering it is made entirely from cashmere. The exterior features a clean and refined surface, while the interior reveals a plush looped French terry construction that feels remarkably soft against the skin. The result feels dense, comforting, and deeply substantial in the hand, while still retaining the unmistakable softness, warmth, and refined touch that make cashmere so sought after in the first place. It has a presence rarely associated with cashmere, combining luxurious comfort with the reassuring heft of a true heavyweight garment.

The fabric itself is Tsuriami knit in Wakayama, Japan, using antique circular hanging knitting machines that date back over a century. These traditional machines produce fabric at an incredibly slow pace, approximately one meter per hour. This process creates a fabric with a uniquely airy and springy character, allowing the cashmere fibers to fully bloom while maintaining exceptional softness and elasticity.

Our Crewneck features a modern athletic fit, highlighted by a ribbed binder collar with a vintage-style inlaid V gusset. Raglan sleeves, ribbed side panels, cuffs, and hem provide structure and comfort, while flat seam construction delivers a clean refined finish. Expertly made in Japan, ensuring exceptional quality throughout every step of production.
