The Foxfibre® Yak Blend Knit Flannel brings together three exceptional natural fibers into one deeply textured and incredibly comfortable fabric. It is knit using a custom mélange yarn blending organically grown extra long staple Ultimate Pima cotton, naturally colored Foxfibre® cotton, and soft insulating yak fiber.

Ultimate Pima cotton, prized for having some of the longest staple fibers in the world, adds exceptional softness, strength, and smoothness to the fabric. Naturally colored Foxfibre® cotton contributes rich earthy tones without relying on conventional dyeing processes, while yak fiber, with its naturally occurring brown-grey hues, enhances the depth and nuanced mélange character of the knit while adding natural warmth, breathability, and temperature regulating properties.

By adjusting the ratio of Foxfibre® and Ultimate Pima cotton within the mélange yarns, two distinct color expressions emerge. Tobacco uses a higher concentration of Foxfibre® to create a deeper, richer brown tone, while Ash increases the amount of Ultimate Pima cotton for a softer, lighter appearance.

The fabric is knit densely, giving it a tight woven-like appearance while still retaining the natural flexibility, softness, and ease of movement that only a knit fabric can provide. The surface is lightly brushed, creating a rich texture with an almost melton wool-like feel that adds warmth, depth, and a more substantial hand to the fabric.

Warm browns, greys, and natural cotton tones shift subtly across the surface, creating a rich heathered appearance that could never be replicated through synthetic dyes alone. The result is a fabric filled with nuance, depth, and character, entirely shaped by thoughtfully selected natural fibers.

Each garment is pre-washed to remove shrinkage and take the guesswork out of sizing, while also enhancing softness and delivering a broken-in feel from the very first wear.

Our Field Shirt is a classic overshirt with a slightly relaxed silhouette designed for easy layering. It features dual chest pockets and a curved hem inspired by heritage workwear styling. Flat seam construction is used throughout, while genuine horn buttons add a natural finishing touch.
